It’s finally here. Welcome to draft day. All throughout scouting the class, talking to a bunch of people about this class, and providing a ton of breakdowns, that’s now behind us as it’s finally here, the 2025 NFL Draft.
Here is my FINAL Mock Draft, 1-round, predictive based on the latest buzz I’ve heard and pairing fits I really like.
Without further ado… let’s dig in. Mock Draft 7.0 is here as it’s DRAFT DAY!
Pick 1: Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward · QB · Miami
After a long pre-draft process this pick won’t go any other way, no surprise here as Cam Ward will be the 1st pick in the draft as the Titans look to land their franchise QB.
Pick 2: Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter · WR/CB · Colorado
This is a widely expected pick as well, with the Browns falling in love with the Heisman winning two-way phenom. It sounds like Travis Hunter would be a WR first and CB second with the Browns, but play both ways in numerous packages.
Pick 3: New York Giants - Abdul Carter · EDGE · Penn State
Ultimately I believe the Giants will opt for BPA here in Abdul Carter, and punt on QB until the 2nd round. Kayvon Thibodeaux could be in trade conversations following this pick as the Giants can build their defensive front around Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence and Abdul Carter.
Pick 4: New England Patriots - Will Campbell · OT · LSU
Todd McShay came out with a report recently that Drake Maye already knows Will Campbell is going to be the Pick at #4. I firmly believe that the Top-4 is relatively locked in at this point, and the draft starts with the Jaguars at #5.
Pick 5: Jacksonville Jaguars - Ashton Jeanty · RB · Boise State
Jacksonville’s new GM James Gladstone will want to come in and make an immediate splash. There could be a trade down here, maybe Chicago moves up for Jeanty, but the splash-play by Gladstone & company is where I’m leaning currently.
Pick 6: Las Vegas Raiders - Armand Membou · OT · Missouri
Membou is ranked as my OL#1 in the entire class and the Raiders landing him here would be a great fit. The Raiders can build from the trenches, as John Spytek and Pete Carroll both like to do, and add a top-player in the class doing so.
Pick 7: New York Jets - Tyler Warren · TE · Penn State
Warren to the Jets has been rumored for awhile now, and the buzz seems to be intensifying lately. Warren would be a big-time weapon for Justin Fields, who has always targeted TEs a lot.
Pick 8: Carolina Panthers - Jalon Walker · LB/EDGE · Georgia
The NFL loves Jalon Walker, his leadership, personality and versatility screams coaches dream. Play him wherever, he’d be a Day-1 starter for the Panthers needy defense.
Pick 9: New Orleans Saints - Mason Graham · DT · Michigan
Graham is a can’t miss prospect in my eyes who’s suffered a little bit of a fall lately. Once considered a Top-5 pick, here Graham slides and I can’t see the Saints pass on him if available.
Pick 10: Chicago Bears - Kelvin Banks Jr. · OT · Texas
Chicago’s in the process of a complete offensive-line overhaul and they have the opportunity to complete it here with Banks. After missing out on Jeanty, the Bears could go in a few directions here; maybe Colston Loveland or even Omarion Hampton? But ultimately, Banks makes sense here.
Pick 11: San Francisco 49ers - Walter Nolen · DT · Ole Miss
Nolen’s stock has been all over the place in the past few weeks, but at this point he seems like a lock for the Top-15. There’s even a chance he could go before Mason Graham at this point, but here the 49ers address their need on the defensive front with Nolen.
Pick 12: Dallas Cowboys - Tetairoa McMillan · WR · Arizona
Dallas has a few options here, RB-IOL or WR. Here, I believe they’ll try and get McMillan who would be a fantastic complement alongside CeeDee Lamb.
Pick 13: Miami Dolphins - Jahdae Barron · CB · Texas
Jalen Ramsey potential trade rumors in the air, and the Dolphins have a big need in the secondary. Barron is a versatile playmaker who could be used in multiple alignments with the Dolphins.
Pick 14: Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland · TE · Michigan
This one won’t surprise anyone, the Colts have been expected to select a TE all throughout the draft process, and Loveland is the best player available here on my Big Board.
Pick 15: Atlanta Falcons - Mykel Williams · EDGE · Georgia
The Falcons haven’t gone defense in the 1st round in 4-years. This WILL be the year, and with Mykel Williams on the board they can address their massive EDGE need. Williams is a name I’ve heard paired a lot among Falcons circles.
Pick 16: Arizona Cardinals - Matthew Golden · WR · Texas
Going into free agency Arizona had a big front-seven need, but they addressed that then letting them go in a different direction here. The Cardinals have been connected with WR, IOL and CB here, ultimately adding to the offensive firepower here with the CFP standout in Golden.
Pick 17: Cincinnati Bengals - Mike Green · EDGE · Marshall
Green led the FBS with 17 sacks this past season and would add a lot of juice to a needy Bengals defense. We’ll see what happens with Trey Hendrickson long-term in a contract dispute, but either way I believe we will see the Bengals select an edge rusher. Shemar Stewart is another big possibility here.
Pick 18: Seattle Seahawks - Grey Zabel · IOL · North Dakota State
Zabel’s stock skyrocketed with an excellent Senior Bowl and has propelled himself to potentially being a Top-20 pick. The Seahawks cash in here with their massive O-Line need, I could even see Zabel off the board by this point.
Pick 19: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Donovan Ezeiruaku · EDGE · Boston College
The Buccaneers have 2 options that standout here in my opinion; LB and EDGE. Tampa has always valued production a lot, and Ezeiruaku’s 16.5 sacks get the job done. Jihaad Campbell is a name to watch here, but his injury concerns have most teams worried.
Pick 20: Denver Broncos - TreVeyon Henderson · RB · Ohio State
There’s been a lot of chatter in the past 48-hours about the Broncos potentially going with a pass catcher here rather than a RB, but with the Broncos colossal need for way better RB play, Henderson makes a lot of sense here. I really think this pick will be one of TreVeyon Henderson or Omarion Hampton, with a slight possibility of OSU WR Emeka Egbuka.
Pick 21: Pittsburgh Steelers - Shedeur Sanders · QB · Colorado
Shedeur had a good meeting in Pittsburgh a few weeks back and it’s a natural fit here at #21 as the Steelers don’t have a QB1 on roster. The Steelers end the slide on Shedeur.
Pick 22: Los Angeles Chargers - Kenneth Grant · DT · Michigan
Jim Harbaugh looooves drafting the trenches, and Kenneth Grant could very well be the next prime example. Harbaugh knows Grant well from their time at Michigan, as he recruited him to the Wolverines.
Pick 23: Green Bay Packers - Will Johnson · CB · Michigan
Johnson’s stock has depleted over the past few weeks with multiple red-flags coming up with his injury concern. Ultimately the Packers have a big need for CB play and Will Johnson is the best available option here in my opinion.
Pick 24: Minnesota Vikings - Malaki Starks · SAF · Georgia
The Vikings are a potential trade-down spot here, but with Starks on the board I like that fit too much. After losing Cam Bynum to free agency, Starks becomes the plug & play replacement.
Pick 25: Houston Texans - Josh Simmons · OT · Ohio State
Simmons draft range will be one of the storylines on draft night. He produced the tape of a Top-10 talent, but has major injury concern with a patella tendon tear and reportedly had concerns with his interviews. With the Texans desperate to revamp their O-Line, Simmons becomes a natural fit here. Alabama Guard Tyler Booker is another name to keep an eye on here.
Pick 26: Los Angeles Rams - Maxwell Hairston · CB · Kentucky
I believe that there’s a solid chance we see the Rams go CB in this spot, whether it’s Hairston or Ole Miss’ Trey Amos. Hairston flew up draft boards at the combine with a 4.28 40-yard dash.
Pick 27: Baltimore Ravens - Shemar Stewart · EDGE · Texas A&M
Baltimore stops the slide on Shemar Stewart, who posted a historic RAS at the combine. Stewart’s lack of production make him a hard player to mock, but his disruptive-ness makes him a fun fit with the Ravens.
Pick 28: Detroit Lions - Tyler Booker · IOL · Alabama
Booker’s intangibles and leadership stand out according to numerous people around Alabama, that’s the type of stuff that Lions HC Dan Campbell will love.
TRADE: Commanders trade Pick 29, 205 to the Patriots for Pick 38, 77
Pick 29: (from WSH) New England Patriots - Emeka Egbuka · WR · Ohio State
The Patriots get aggressive and solve their 2nd biggest need, WR, after addressing their biggest need in OL at 4. Egbuka could be off the board much earlier than this but the Patriots cash in and move up.
Pick 30: Buffalo Bills - Derrick Harmon · DT · Oregon
Some recent smoke about injury concern from Harmon ultimately have me questioning where he’ll land, but the Bills land a major steal here. Harmon is a top-15 prospect for me and my DT2.
TRADE: Chiefs trade Pick 31 to the Giants for Pick 34, 105
Pick 31: (from KC) New York Giants - Jaxson Dart · QB · Ole Miss
The Giants move up 3 spots to secure Dart and pick up the 5th year option which is crucial for QBs in this day and age. Brian Daboll reportedly has a lot of interest in Dart and loves the possible fit here.
Pick 32: Philadelphia Eagles - Jihaad Campbell · LB · Alabama
The Eagles end the fall of Jihaad. Campbell’s injury concerns will be one of the storylines of tonight, he has the skill to go much earlier than this but could face an interesting slide, maybe even out of the 1st round. Here, Philadelphia goes BPA and goes Campbell.
